Start with a plan. Build better ground. Grow better plots.
Game Plan is the smart land manager choice to improve soil health, build fertility, and set your food plots up for long-term success. We chose three different clover varieties to best focus on fast establishment, strong nitrogen production, and heavy biomass to feed your soil. An added benefit is deer using your property will appreciate the highly palatable food source.
Why Game Plan works:
- Soil first design – improves soil structure, fertility, and organic matter
- Natural nitrogen producer – feeds soil and future plantings
- Highly preferred – deer will use it while you simultaneously improve your ground
- Great rotational mix – perfect spring planting ahead of brassicas, grains, or future perennials
- Soil defender – dense growth helps crowd out weed competition and keep soil temperatures low
Game Plan isn’t just about what you plant this season – it’s about setting your ground up to perform better next season and the season after that. It’s ideal for those truly wanting to improve their ground.
We like to establish Game Plan in the spring. It can be established alone (including frost seeded) or with a nurse crop like oats at 40 pounds per acre. Weed suppression is improved when planting with oats or other cereal grains like winter rye or spring triticale. Maintenance is easily performed with herbicides or by mowing.
